National Right to Life Endorses Julia Letlow for U.S. Senate
WASHINGTON — National Right to Life, the federation of state right-to-life affiliates, today announced its endorsement of Congresswoman Julia Letlow for election to the U.S. Senate at Louisiana Right to Life’s Acadiana Quarterly Preaux Life Luncheon in Lafayette, Louisiana.
“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Julia Letlow for the United States Senate,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Throughout her service in the House of Representatives, Congresswoman Letlow has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to protecting innocent human life and supporting mothers and their children.”
Since entering Congress in 2021, Letlow has had a 100% pro-life voting record which includes votes to protect babies who survive abortions, prevent taxpayer funding of abortion, and stop federal funding from flowing to major abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood.
“Julia Letlow understands that every human life has value and deserves protection,” Tobias continued. “Louisiana families can trust her to stand against the abortion industry’s radical agenda and to defend the most vulnerable members of our society.”
Letlow’s opponent, Democrat Jamie Davis, has said he supports codifying Roe v. Wade and restoring a federal right to abortion. Such legislation would threaten Louisiana’s protective laws and prevent elected lawmakers from safeguarding unborn children and their mothers.
“The contrast in this election could not be more clear,” Tobias said. “Julia Letlow will defend Louisiana’s pro-life values in the United States Senate, while Jamie Davis would support efforts to impose abortion on demand through federal law.”
National Right to Life urges all pro-life voters in Louisiana to vote for Julia Letlow in the November 3 general election.
“Julia Letlow has earned the confidence and support of pro-life Louisianans,” Tobias added. “National Right to Life looks forward to working with Senator Julia Letlow to advance protections for unborn children and provide compassionate support for women and families.”
Founded in 1968, the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC), the federation of affiliates in each of the 50 states, is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots pro-life organization. National Right to Life works through legislation and education to protect innocent human life from abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide, and euthanasia.
